I’m Mel and I love flower dudes, weird vows and a good ole laugh snort! I love having a mad laugh while keeping my classy hat on!

I want to share a little secret Celebrant business with you - Celebrants are so important because they set the tone for your whole wedding day!

We start the party, we bring the romance vibes, we warm up your nervy guests and we can make your Grandma cry (happy tears of course).

Our skill set involves knowing how to interpret what you want and then wrap it all up in a ceremony that will entertain, move, inspire and delight. And if you don’t know what you want, we simply start from scratch!

What makes me stand out from the 2500 or so Celebrants in Victoria?

  • I’m a storyteller! I love to tell your story but not in a Cheesy McCheese kind of way, just the facts with a funny spin (people often ask me how long I have been friends with the marrying couple for)

  • I like to treat your guests to a lucky dip to choose your witnesses

  • My fave is to surprise you with advice from your Grandparents during your ceremony

  • I delight in making your day about you - not about me

  • I make sure everyone feels warm in their hearts, tingly in their dancing toes and ready to par-tay when they leave the ceremony

I know how to do this cause I have been doing it for over 15 years and have married over 2000 couples and I LOVE WHAT I DO!

My bookings are limited! I try hard to retain a work/life balance and as someone who has married around 2500 couples in my 18 years as a Celebrant its fair to say I have missed some serious family time, so if you are interested drop me an enquiry to see if I still have your chosen date available!

I have married people everywhere from the museum to art galleries, to wineries, to pubs and even in bed (ask me about that one when we meet).

I love to interact with your guests and entertain them but at the same time, its not all about me -you should be the focus!

Give me your original ideas and I will make them work for you!

I respect all people, all races, all religions, all sexualities, all genders, all varieties of football team supporters, all K-mart bargain hunters, Gucci shoppers, and all parents of fur babies, with no discrimination or bias, just love, support and understanding.
